Role : Set and Props Assistant
Assisted in props and set design for Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure at the Minack Theatre. Responsibilities included crafting placards and visual props for the rebellion/protest scenes and contributing set dressing, ensuring cohesive stage aesthetics aligned with the production’s tone.
Measure for Measure explores themes of justice, morality, and power, following Duke Vincentio’s covert observation of his city as his deputy, Angelo, enforces strict laws with hypocrisy and cruelty. The production balanced historical depth with contemporary visual cues, emphasizing tension between authority and resistance.
